Blunder

The etymology of the word "blunder" dates to the mid 14th century, is probably of Scandinavian origin, and might be akin to the Old Norse "blunda" to shut one's eyes to doze. Most dictionaries give the following as the first definition:
#1. "To move unsteadily or confusedly". For example, "We blundered around the continent, stopping when we found something wonderful to explore".

Back in the summer of 1975, we had the good luck to score tickets to Bob Dylan's Rolling Thunder Revue. It was something very special. For more info:

So with a wink to Mr. Dylan, what better blog title for an RV adventure than Rolling BlunderZ.

Join TZ (who will henceforth be known as The Driver) me, (MBZ) and Duke the Wonder Beagle as we blunder our way across North America in Beauregard, our 40' Tiffin Phaeton.  We'll try to make as few "blunders" as possible. (This is very often definition #2) but will share whatever knowledge we obtain via this blog.

One note of caution. We won't be hitting the road seriously for a couple years, so don't expect much action. (yes, that would be you, E.E. to whom I speak)  Until we are free from the bondage of salaried labor there is precious little time for shutting one's eyes to doze.

"To be matter of fact about the world is to blunder into fantasy - and dull fantasy at that, as the real world is strange and wonderful. "
Robert Heinlein
